Awesome! Thanks so mush. (Your Tall Book link is to the Three Trees, though.) I'm going to see if our library has some of these. Tona- you have a compilation book- kind of fancy- that has a good story about the real St. Nicolas. What's that called?

and as for the pop-up books, i must also mention that on the final page - the one shown in the post - the lights on the christmas tree actually light up! all of his (sabuda's) books (that i have checked out thus far) are AWESOME!

oh yeah, and one more plug for the gift of the magi. it is one of my all-time favorite stories. such a great story that i will even watch the tv version starring marie osmond - pre-doll queen days.
