It's been awhile so it's time for another Sing Along. Inspired by my brother's recent "Christian Metal Band or Star Trek Episode" quiz (take it, it's hilarious), I thought there must be some good lyrics quizzes out there, so here's one on 80's lyrics. I'm sad to report my score was 52.5 out of 103, just barely over 50%. I found it hard to get so many songs in my head one right after another, and didn't take the time to sit and think too hard - I can only ignore my kids for so long at a stretch.
Please take it yourself and report your score here - you're bound to do better than me!

Well, my score was 51, but I noticed I got some things wrong strictly on spelling. I said Billy Jean and it was Billie Jean etc. I didn't feel too bad about my score, but knew I would remember more later.
Oh yeah- check this out: 72, as in the year I was born. Yessss!
Final Score: 77.5
Warning to anyone who hasn't taken it yet, there's no partial credit within a question - like if it has two blanks and get one right, that's no points. Also, some songs/lyrics are worth more than others.
Can anyone ELSE score the year they were born? This is cool.
76
That was missing two for spelling mistakes and hating myself for getting so many correct.
Davey - isn't that your birth year? or are you a '77?
117, but I'm a music geek (and Dave's coworker).
I was born in 77 so no such luck on the getting my birthday thing, but maybe if I had spelled surgeon correctly...
117 is shameful. Shameful.
38.25. wawwp wowww.
If there isn't partial credit, how are people getting points with decimals, is that the weighting factor?
Yup. Totally subjective scoring by the author.
